Rigel García is an independent cinematographer of narrative features and short films. Having grown up in Tampico, Mexico—a town renowned for its extraterrestrial legends—he developed a special interest in the surreal. As such, his award-winning films are often influenced by magical realism.
García studied in the United States at Maine Media Workshops + College, collaborating with some of the best DP’s in the world. He has experience shooting digitally and in analog film, as well as working within the experimental genre.
